Our dream turned into reality in May 2016 when we signed our lease and embarked on construction. On January 4, 2017, we proudly opened our doors, starting with the lower taproom. The tremendous turnout, even on a cold January day, quickly highlighted the need for expansion. This led us to the realization that craft beer deserved an equally craft food pairing.

Oktoberfest began in Munich, Germany, in 1810 to celebrate the October 12th marriage of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to the Saxon-Hildburghausen Princess Therese. The citizens of Munich were invited to join in the festivities which took place in the fields in front of the city gates. Since then, Oktoberfest has grown into a global phenomenon celebrated around the world, including right here at ETX Brewing Co.”
